1. What Peerify is
Peerify connects adults who want to practise a language with people who speak it natively. You exchange text, voice notes and images, translate messages, and correct each other's writing.
2. Who may use it
You must be 18 or older. You confirm your date of birth when you create your profile, and accounts found to belong to minors are removed. One account per person, and the information you give must be accurate.
3. Your account
You are responsible for your credentials and for activity on your account. Tell us immediately if you believe someone else has access to it.
4. Acceptable use
The Community Guidelines form part of these Terms. In particular: no harassment, hate speech or threats; no flirting, dating solicitation or sexual content; no scams, spam or self-promotion; and respect boundaries, cultures, accents and skill levels. Breaking these rules may lead to a warning, suspension or permanent ban.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of what you write, record and upload. You grant Peerify the limited licence needed to store your content, transmit it to the people you send it to, and display it inside the app. Do not upload content you do not have the right to share.
6. Moderation
You can report a profile or message, and block anyone, at any time. We review reports and may remove content, restrict features or close accounts. We keep moderation records so repeated behaviour can be recognised.
7. Subscriptions
Peerify Plus is billed through your App Store account, and payment is taken at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. You manage and cancel them in your App Store account settings.
8. Ending your account
You may delete your account at any time in Settings. Deletion is permanent and is described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms.
9. Availability and liability
Peerify is provided as-is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we are not responsible for the conduct of other people you meet through the service. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited by law.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified in the app before they take effect.
